Health and Safety must be communicated to all members of staff to ensure that they are aware of safety procedures that are in place within your organisation. If you employ five or more people, it is also a requirement of the Health and Safety at Work etc Act to have a written statement of your health and safety policy.

This document should be reviewed on a regular basis and must be made available to all members of staff. The handbooks contain a copy of the company’s policy statement along with specific responsibilities that all employees must follow. The handbooks also contain details of the arrangements that the company are implementing in order to safeguard the health safety and welfare of all employees and visitors who may be affected by the company’s actions.
