Business Development Consultant
JOB TITLE: Business Development Consultant (BDC)
REPORTS TO: Team Manager (Telemarketing)

LOCATION: Wilmslow
SALARY: £16,500 basic + UNCAPPED commission (£25k OTE)
HOURS: Full time 8.45am – 5pm Mon – Fri
Job Purpose :
Handles outbound Telemarketing sales calls, facilitating customer enquiries, providing customer information closing appointments for the B2B sales force spread geographically throughout the UK. Applies guidelines and processes precisely and consistently hits KPI’s.Accountabilities and Main Responsibilities of job:
- Effectively driving outbound telemarketing sales calls, providing product information that will assist the customer in making an informed decision.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with all customers.
- Understand business issues and recommend solutions to improve.
- Follow operational protocols, procedures and processes to ensure targets and KPI’s are met in accordance with forecasts.
- Deliver individual quantative appointment targets, adhering to quality and accuracy standards.
- Contribute to the achievement of financial and reputational team and operational targets.
- Operate within own area of accountability, escalating issues and seeking guidance when required.
- Maintain and develop own technical knowledge and expertise.
- Commit to own personal development.
- Provide support, mentoring and guidance to others as required.
