- A minimum two years' continuous service required
- Only the final 20 years of service count for redundancy pay purposes
- Although the lower as well as the upper age limits were removed from 1 October 2006, the
statutory redundancy calculation does not take into account any employment below the minimum
school leaving age - The statutory maximum for a week’s pay is £380 for a termination date on or after 1 October 2009.
