  • A minimum two years' continuous service required
  • Only the final 20 years of service count for redundancy pay purposes
  • Although the lower as well as the upper age limits were removed from 1 October 2006, the
    statutory redundancy calculation does not take into account any employment below the minimum
    school leaving age
  • The statutory maximum for a week’s pay is £380 for a termination date on or after 1 October 2009.
Note: The old limit was £350 for a termination date before 1 October 2009. If you need to use this figure, please substitute it in the Statutory maximum week’s pay box.
