We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and hard-working Digital Marketing Executive to join the team at Citation. You’ll be responsible for driving Citation’s digital marketing strategy alongside our Digital Lead, across PPC, SEO and our website. You’ll have a strong understanding of digital marketing analytics and what the numbers actually mean to a business. You’ll be comfortable working with digital agencies in good times, and bad and forging close relationships with others both inside and outside the team, to achieve great results. You’ll be full of ideas on how to improve our digital marketing campaigns, on-site content and UX, bringing with you fresh thoughts backed up by the latest digital insights. We’re looking for someone with an ability to manage multiple tasks and see them through to completion.

Citation is one of the UK’s biggest providers of Health & Safety, HR, Employment Law and ISO services to businesses. We are far from your average service provider as our colleagues bring their great personalities to work, not just their policies!

Ideally, you’ll have a few years of experience in achieving great results using digital marketing tools or you may be part of an agency team, with a strong understanding of digital marketing.

Working under our Digital Lead and alongside our content and design teams, you’ll be joining a fast-growing and hungry group of marketeers and will have the opportunity to work across multiple businesses, as Citation and the wider Citation Group grows. You’ll be able to start new campaigns from scratch and put your stamp on them, whilst taking existing campaigns to the next level.

THE ROLE:

  • Support with the development and implementation of the digital strategy
  • Create and manage new/existing marketing campaigns to generate leads
  • Manage and optimise PPC campaigns across several brands
  • Work alongside brand, content and acquisition teams to deliver engaging and relevant online content/resources
  • Review analytics and produce reports to analyse with the Digital Lead
  • Champion SEO and UI/UX best practice
  • Manage the CMS to make on-site changes and create new content
  • Work alongside Digital Marketing and Dev agencies to continually optimise campaigns and improve performance, UI and UX
  • Use Salesforce CRM to track successes and inform changes
  • Liaise with the wider marketing team to maximise collaborative online opportunities

YOU:

  • Previous experience in a Digital Marketing role or digital agency environment
  • Confident with SEO and PPC
  • Strong Google Analytics knowledge and channel marketing analytics
  • Knowledge of e-commerce / digital P&L
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to make commercial decisions based on insight and analysis
  • Ability to use data to deliver marketing campaigns and gain audience insight
  • Experience of working alongside agencies
  • Comfortable using CMS applications
  • HTML experience would be great but is by no means a must
