UX Research Executive

UX Research Executive – Citation Group Marketing

Location: Remote


The User Experience Research Executive will be primarily responsible for designing, conducting, analysing, and reporting on user-centred design research and usability testing for the Citation Group digital channels, working across multiple brands. This includes the identification of customer needs and goals, pain points, user journey mapping and persona development as well as rapid iterative usability testing, and more formal, in-depth testing.


Key accountabilities

Manage the process of proposing, wireframing, and implementing UX improvements across Citation’s portfolio of B2B websites

Manage and conduct user research and concept development

Analyse both quantitative and qualitative data to generate strategic and tactical insights, along with actionable recommendations that improve the customer’s experience

Work closely with the brand team to understand buyer personas and investigate buyer behaviour

Work closely with marketing and product management teams to identify research topics


Knowledge, skills and experience required

Comfortable executing the full UX lifecycle

Good experience of a wide range of UX research methods and technologies.

Can plan user research for services with challenging user needs and complex user journeys

Understands and can help teams apply a range of methods to analyse research data and present findings

Can advocate for inclusive practices and help teams design and deliver accessible services that work for all users

Understands what problem the team is trying to solve. Can align user research activities to inform decision making and action

Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral

Excellent relationship skills – able to operate and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers and partners
