Credit Control Team leader

Job Title: Credit Control Team Leader     

Location: Wilmslow

Hours of Work: Full time. 

The Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Credit Control Team Leader

Key Responsibilities

• Supervision of a team of 2 people supporting them in the prompt collection of outstanding debt across a number of ledgers
• Weekly creation & review of aged debt reports
• Processing weekly direct debit run & any subsequent rejections
• Processing new direct debit uploads to bank
• Cash posting/allocation
• Billing
• Referring accounts to Solicitors for legal action
• Query resolution with both Customers & Solicitors
• Ad hoc requests from senior management

The successful candidate will have:

• Knowledge and experience of credit control processes, procedures and reporting
• Previous experience of managing a small team
• Transactional finance knowledge & understanding
• Ability to prioritise workload
• Positive outlook & ability to cope with change
• Strong work ethic
• Knowledge of legal process
• Intermediate excel skills including pivots & v-look ups
• Ability to communicate with clients and staff at all levels
