Job Title: Business Development Manager

We’re looking to recruit a driven and ambitious Business Development Manager to support our rapid and ambitious growth plans.
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll identify and convert new business opportunities through a variety of ways; including having appointed prospective clients for you to and through self-generation and networking at industry events. This is an extremely varied role in which you’ll liaise with a diverse selection of external prospective clients from a wide range of sectors within the SME market. You’ll need to be able to build rapport quickly, be flexible in your approach to influencing, and build and maintain an extensive knowledge across a highly competitive market landscape.
Though you say it yourself, you are a simply brilliant (and probably unappreciated and under-rewarded) business-to-business sales professional. You genuinely love meeting with business owners and have a talent for understanding their own agendas and challenges, whilst helping them to be more successful. You can rapidly build great relationships and then provide practical solutions to their business challenges in a consultative and highly intelligent manner.
You know that success in business-to-business SME selling has a lot to do with stamina, determination and focus, so for the right money, you can demonstrate a wealth of these vital ingredients to success.

Of course we’ll support you with appointments and lead generation but if you’re the kind of person who solely depends on that to be successful, then this is not the role for you.
