Salary: c£60,000 plus benefits and bonus


This is a really exciting time to join us to lead this brand new and already successful channel.  Having recently launched consultancy services to a client base who already love our core services, we have been blown away by demand and the size of the opportunity.

So, if you are an experienced sales leader, with B2B experience and a proven track record of success and you are looking for your next opportunity – we have bags of it for you at Citation.  You will take responsibility for ensuring this channel reaches its’ full potential including:

  • creating the go to market sales strategy
  • driving the overall productivity and effectiveness of our consultancy revenue stream
  • selling the internal vision to our service and sales teams to ensure they are both on-board and equipped to sell and service this valuable service to our clients
  • sales coaching and enablement, creation of campaign strategies, pipeline management, sales process optimisation and operational roll out strategies

In this high profile role, you will work with key stakeholders and teams right across the business to ensure we maximise success, quickly, from this channel.  This is a wide and varied role with bags of opportunity and support from our business.  With double digit growth year on year for the past six years, our business thrives on people with vision, determination, agility, focus and brilliant people skills.

We are proud of our industry leading colleague engagement and client retention rates so if you are a brilliant new business sales person without any experience of service and operational delivery excellence, this probably isn’t the right for you.  We care about long term sustainable success, alongside monthly sales performance so you need to be comfortable in a fast paced environment and capable of operating at both a macro and micro level.


Key Accountabilities

  • Setting the vision and executing the plan to deliver and exceed budgeted revenue numbers
  • Develop and improving sales process and operation
  • Accurate forecasts and budgets and reports to Senior Management. Alongside acting on data/information strategies and tactics to ensure targets are met.
  • Creation of successful sales and referrals programmes to ensure each channel is maximised.
  • Identify new business channels and revenue streams within the consultancy days channel.
  • Helping to ensure seamless service delivery to ensure renewals and repeat business
  • Working across the business to ensure effective enablement of the sales strategy and a strong bond between sales and service.
  • Able to think deeply and act quickly from a commercial perspective, bringing clarity and authenticity through clear communications and operational delivery of the sales strategy.


About You

  • It’s a given that you have the sales skills and know how to drive growth from a channel but you are not a one trick pony.   • B2B sales experience with a proven track record of delivering results, possibly in a professional service environment but not exclusively.
  • Demonstrable experience of successfully taking new products/services to market, or building upon existing products/services to make them more effective
  • Experience of complex sales environment with multi products
  • Track record of developing and coaching sales teams and building effective relationships with service/support teams.
