Following an autumn surge in COVID-19 cases, Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced a series of further, stricter restrictions across England.
From Thursday 5 November the government has ordered certain businesses and venues to close their doors – such as non-essential retail, leisure facilities, entertainment venues and personal care facilities. Those who can work from home are encouraged to do so (although there are exceptions to this, including construction and manufacturing) and the furlough scheme is being extended.
These new measures have brought England closer to the strict lockdown we saw in spring than ever before. But as a business, are you prepared to close for a second time?
In this guide, our Health & Safety experts have taken everything we’ve learned working with our clients from the first lockdown and created a checklist of points that will help you get ready for the second, month-long lockdown coming on 5 November.
In the guide, you’ll find our experts’ advice on:
- Lockdown preparedness

and much more. To claim your FREE copy, simply enter your details in the form opposite to instantly download the checklist.
