Reopening your gym or leisure centre: a checklist

The government published their document ‘Our plan to rebuild: the UK Government’s COVID-19 recovery strategy’  on 11 May, and in it, they revealed their plan to allow gyms, spas, and leisure centres in England to reopen from 25 July. As an employer in the health and fitness industry, you’ll no doubt be counting down the days until your facility can reopen, but have you made the mandatory changes you need to beforehand? With everything from returning furloughed employees to creating and publishing your COVID-secure risk assessment, there’s a lot on your plate and not much time to get everything done.

Citation’s HR and Health & Safety experts have gathered some of the key considerations every owner and manager needs to make, so you’re ready to reopen your doors and carry on providing services to your members.
