Tribunal fees – judicial reviews pending

A High Court application in July for an injunction to prevent employment tribunal fees from being introduced was turned down by the Court after the Lord Chancellor gave an undertaking to the effect that, if the judicial review went against the government, any fees already paid would be repaid with interest.

A similar application in the Court of Sessions in Scotland was turned down on the same grounds, and a judicial review of this case is also expected to be heard next month.
