Holiday entitlement sounds straightforward. Until someone asks to carry over unused days, or you need to calculate pay for someone with irregular hours.

And with changes to holiday pay rules in 2024, new record-keeping duties from April 2026, and the Fair Work Agency now able to inspect your records, getting it wrong has consequences.
