The Health & Safety Executive has confirmed that they will continue to inspect workplaces to make sure businesses are working safely as some COVID restrictions are lifted. With new variants of concern cropping up around the country, it’s important businesses put the correct measures in place in alignment with the HSE guidance. Not meeting these standards in the workplace could result in a fine of up to £10,000.

To help make sure you’ve got every base covered when it comes to proving your COVID-compliant during inspections, our Health & Safety and HR experts have put together this checklist of considerations you need to make to avoid any fines and the closure of your business. In it they cover:

  • What safety measures you should consider having in place to maintain a safe workplace
  • How to encourage your people to comply with retained COVID safety measures
  • Some of the most common issues identified by HSE inspectors
