The Good Work Plan: employment rights at-a-glance

Monday 6 April 2020 was a big day for UK employers. It was when a phase of the programme of changes that form the government’s Good Work Plan came into force as legislation that all employers nationwide have to comply with.

The changes proposed in the government’s plan were designed to give greater protection for those working under more flexible working arrangements – who, in employment law, occupy a middle ground between employees and the self-employed, known as a ‘worker’.
