As an employer, you’re legally required to ensure your business is up-to-date with Health & Safety legislation.

If something slips through the net though, and an enforcing authority – like the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) or Environmental Health Officer (EHO), for example – catch wind of it, you could land yourself in hot water.
