British workers among the most stressed in the world

The report has recommended that British employers should carry out screening within the workplace for depression and anxiety. Most people with mental health issues do work, despite the perception to the contrary, according to Anxiety UK. Nicky Lidbetter CEO of Anxiety UK explains: “In fact, recent surveys of Anxiety UK members have found that a majority of members, many of which have lived with anxiety for many years, do indeed work. It’s important that those who are struggling with stress and anxiety and are finding it difficult to stay in work, are able to receive support to allow them to continue working.”
