Movement between care settings – what we know so far

For several months, the government has advised that staff movement between care homes should be avoided where possible to reduce the risk of COVID transmission between settings.

In the Adult Social Care Winter Plan policy paper, it was indicated that the guidance on minimising contact between care homes would be enforced through regulations.

While we’re still waiting for full rules and guidance on this issue from the government, our care experts have gathered together what we know so far about the plans for restricting movement between so you can start preparing your care service.
