The cost of sickies

Sickies can setback any business. From loss of productivity to costs, the effects can soon be felt.

Perhaps equally worryingly though, are the reasons behind why employees pull sickies in the first place. Inability to face their manager, being bullied and because ‘other people do it and get away with it’, are just a handful of explanations given in our recent survey.

And the fear factor doesn’t stop there. Concerningly, the overwhelming majority of employees who’ve pulled a sickie said they’ve never been caught out.
